The sanctuary
Quiet, by design.
A private quinta inside the Serra da Arrábida natural park, an hour south of Lisbon. Ten rooms. One cohort a month.
The body builds capacity as much by what is removed as by what is added. We chose Sesimbra because it removes the noise: pine, cliff, Atlantic light, and nothing demanding your attention except the work. Real place, real specialists. No candles, no robes.

The tour
Six stops, on foot.
Everything is two minutes from everything. The drawing walks with you.
The estate, walked in order.
The line keeps pace with you.

The arrival court
The gate closes behind the transfer and the week begins. Phones still work — they just stop mattering.

The house
A working quinta, restored, not themed. Ten rooms around a stone courtyard, no two alike.

The shala
The training pavilion, open to the pines. Morning strength happens here, programmed from your numbers.

The gardens & pools
The kitchen garden that feeds the long table, a lap pool for zone two, and grass that expects bare feet.

The recovery wing
Sauna, cold plunge, red light and the massage rooms: recovery treated as training, on protocol.

The coast gate
Where the trails leave the estate for the serra and the sea. Half the work of the week starts here.
The build
Built like the protocol: nothing your body has to fight.
The restoration is part of the low-toxin week: the materials the serra has always used, and none of the ones it hasn’t.

Lime plaster & clay paint
Breathing walls and mineral pigment, no VOCs. The rooms smell of nothing at all, on purpose.

Cork, stone & untreated pine
Local, solid, unlacquered. Floors your bare feet were meant to meet, cool in August.

Natural fibres, filtered everything
Linen and wool where you sleep. Filtered water throughout, and no synthetic fragrance anywhere on the estate.
The amenities
Tools, not treats.
Everything on the estate exists because the protocol asks for it. Nothing is sold during the week.
The shala
The open training pavilion. Strength in the morning light, mobility in the afternoon.
Sauna & cold plunge
Heat and cold in sequence, prescribed like training — because it is.
The red light room
Photobiomodulation for recovery, on protocol, not on a whim.
The massage rooms
Hands-on recovery with the physiotherapist. Work, not pampering.
The IV station
Clinically supervised drips, on request, and only where the protocol calls for them.
The pools
A lap pool for zone two, and a cold plunge for the brave.
Inside the houses
The rooms, from within.
Ten rooms, no two alike, all built for the same thing: the deepest sleep you have had in years.

A guest room
Blackout, cool, quiet. Linen and wool where you sleep, stone underfoot, deep windows. No television, no minibar.

The bathrooms
Stone and lime, filtered water, and nothing scented.

The common rooms
Made for long evenings and slow mornings: the library corner, the fire, the long table.
The rooms
Engineered for the sleep window: blackout, cool, quiet. No television, no minibar, and a bed that takes sleep as seriously as we do.
The house
A working quinta, restored, not themed. Ten rooms, stone floors, deep windows, and no two alike. Common rooms made for long evenings, corners made for none.
The table
Food is part of the build: local, seasonal, cooked by our own kitchen to what the protocol asks for. Fish from Sesimbra’s boats, vegetables from the serra.
Getting here
An hour south of Lisbon by car. A private transfer from the airport is included, and discreet. You will not need the car again until you leave.
