Booking Terms & Cancellation Policy

1. Operator

Atlas Cove retreats are organised by Atlas Cove Lda (NIF 519459130), Portugal. Full operator details are in the Imprint. These booking terms sit alongside our website Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

2. Prices and payment

Room rates are per person in euro (EUR). A deposit of 25% of the room rate is payable at the time of booking to reserve your place, through Mollie’s secure checkout. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the retreat start date.

Optional add-ons (for example massage, private sessions, red-light therapy, or IV and bloodwork coordination) can be pre-booked and are billed with your balance payment, not the deposit. Drip IV and bloodwork are arranged with our clinical partner; Atlas Cove charges a coordination fee only.

3. Confirmation

All bookings are subject to our confirmation. After your deposit we review your booking, including your health-readiness answers, and confirm your place with you personally. Places are limited to ten rooms per retreat.

4. Cancellation by you

All bookings include a 72-hour grace period: cancel within 72 hours of booking, for any reason, and receive a full refund of everything you have paid.

Deposit (25%)

  • 60 or more days before the start date: 100% of the deposit is refunded.
  • 30 to 59 days before the start date: 50% of the deposit is refunded.
  • 0 to 29 days before the start date: the deposit is not refunded.

Remaining balance

  • The remaining balance is due 30 days before the retreat start date.
  • If paid at the time of booking, the remaining balance is fully refundable up to 30 days before the start date.
  • If you cancel 0 to 29 days before the start date, the remaining balance is not refundable.

We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers retreat cancellation, in case your plans change. Cancellations must be sent in writing to the contact address below.

5. Changes or cancellation by us

Each retreat requires a minimum number of guests to proceed. If the minimum is not reached, or if we cancel the retreat, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund of all payments made. Your mandatory rights under applicable consumer and package travel law are not affected.

6. Health and fitness

At booking we ask a short set of health-readiness questions (PAR-Q). These help us run the week safely; a “yes” answer does not exclude you, it prompts a short conversation before we confirm. The retreat is not medical care and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional. Always consult your doctor before starting a new training, nutrition, heat/cold, or recovery programme, especially with a pre-existing condition, medication, or pregnancy.

Your health answers are special-category data and are processed only with your explicit consent, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Package travel

These retreats combine accommodation and other travel services and are sold as a package. Mandatory consumer protections under the EU Package Travel Directive (2015/2302) apply, including protection of your payments against operator insolvency. Details of our insolvency-protection cover and Portuguese travel-operator registration (RNAVT) are provided with your booking confirmation.

8. Governing law

These booking terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. This does not affect any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of habitual residence within the EU.
